POSITION:        Physician Assistant

DEPARTMENT:  Parkhouse

SALARY:            $68,023 – 74,425, depending on relevant experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• NCCPA Certification by examination upon graduation and every 6 years with interim recertification every two years
• 100 hours of continuing medical education credits every two years
• Biannual registration: State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs for State Licensure

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Provide quality medical care for the residents of Parkhouse
• Augment the physician’s care by performing a broad range of medical tasks typically performed by the physician
• Monthly medication reviews, post hospital documentation
• Annual physical exams of residents
• Admission history and physicals
• Provide medical coverage on daily basis, performing clinical procedures
• Tardive Dyskinesia evaluations and discharge summaries
